Posted in on Detroit at 27 Aug, 2011 Growing security company seeks hands on, energetic, entrepreneurial team member to manage our security company that is based in downtown Detroit. Experience in security field is critical.

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

Business Management:

? Manage security contracts
? Development new business for the company
? Write proposals to clients to obtain new contracts
? Schedule employees for security assignments
? Manage sales staff to obtain new business
? Manage the day to day operations of the business

Individual must possess, or have the ability to learn, the following skills:

? Strong minded and strong can-do attitude.
? Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
? Ability to solve problems
? Ability to negotiate contracts for the good of the company.
? Microsoft Office skills
? Organized
? Attention to detail
? Punctual
? High Tolerance for ambiguity.

Requirements:

? Minimum 5 years security experience.
? Reliable transportation
? Knowledge of means and methods of security trade.
? Military or Police background
? High School Diploma.
? Some college or college degree preferred although not necessary.
? Own vehicle that can be used for business use in exchange for gas reimbursement.

Ideal candidate would be someone who has owned a security company, worked as an executive for a security company, or someone whose has extensive experience in security sales.

Compensation ranges from $32,000 to $52,000 depending on experience. Total compensation package would include a base wage, commission based on business, company phone, mileage reimbursement.
