Microsoft just released its earnings report for the third quarter of its fiscal year. It came out slightly ahead of analyst estimates, with $17.41 billion in revenue (compared to the predicted $17.16 billion) and earnings of 60 cents per share (compared to 58 cents). Microsoft says this is a record for third-quarter revenue, up 6 percent from the same period last year.
